The Annual Denny Crum Scholarship Cornhole Tournament was held this past week. The event was suppose to be played under a large tent so that it could go on rain or shine. The event coordinators arrived Sunday morning to find their tent missing. A severe storm blew through the night before up rooting the tent and sending it 10 miles down the road. Never the less, the tournament went on with 80 plus teams in two different divisions. The atmosphere was great as usual. Good food & drinks, and a band that kept the house rockin. The only down fall to this event was the bags that were provided. Many players started calling the tournament the Denny Crum Cornmush tournament. Not a kernel to be found.  In the end. The top 3 teams that fought through the dead bags to get their share of the prize money was.
